During the thanksgiving Eucharist following the election of the General Council, Mercedes handed over the apron of service to Cecilia, the councillors received a towel to invite them to serve following Jesus who washed the feet of his disciples.

Then, the third stage began to build the Congregation’s Missionary Project for the next 5 years. We worked well thanks to our exchanges in our faith community, in the assembly and the attentive and efficient presence of our animators, René and Françoise.

After these days, the day of rest (except for the Council and the editorial team) was good thanks to a boat trip to discover, in the morning, the islands and their inhabitants (Basan gannets, puffins, cormorants, grey seals, penguins…) and then the pink granite rocks, so beautiful under the sun.

But no, the work is not finished ! We still have to approve the missionary project and re-read all the days of the Chapter. And here we are, off to Chavagnes where our sisters are waiting for us with impatience and joy.
