« In the distance, on the horizon, we could see the great mountains… The sight of these beauties made a deep impression on my thoughts, I felt that I was beginning to understand the greatness of God and the wonders of heaven. » Sainte Thérèse de Lisieux, Manuscrit A, 58r. |
In this week of Laudato Si’, we let the winds flow and nature was the protagonist.

I thank Sister Maria Ilia for her support, and Sister Mariángel for her motivation, the Family of Incarnation and all the people who visited our pages in our social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and whatsApp group with the name “Caring for the Common Home” and that following the guide proposed by the Laudato Si’ Movement, which undoubtedly was our great inspiration, we have carried out an activity every day where we share videos leaving an ecological reflection.
It is incredible how the activity is mobilized for the care of the common home, being the same young people the protagonists of these small capsules (videos), where the message is clear, from their own reality with their families and also from the workplace. With these small gestures of love and time, we managed to contribute with a grain of sand for the care of our common home. It is there, that we reflect and realize that we can always contribute, whether we have work responsibilities, studies or even an illness, because it activates us, nourishes us, nature brings us together.
And I wonder :
What should I do ?
I love nature and my mission is the call to raise awareness for the care of our common home. Prayer is also action, it motivates me to activate many hearts not only through social media but also from my home and work.
Why do it ?
Because I am part of Creation, it is my home and for this reason we acquire the conscience to take care of it and protect it, giving simple teachings from the place I am to the little ones and young people who are our future and for ourselves. It is never too late to take concrete actions and what better to show our realities. Source of our home.
What impact will it have ?
I truly believe that it is important to motivate and inspire friends and young people, even if it is through social media, technology is within our reach, let’s take advantage of this opportunity to show our realities without a scheme, without perfection. Taking action. Let’s go back to our source, our essence.
The following is the appreciation of the young people and friends who participated in this week. We traveled in situ where they shared even the smallest of the home showing us what they do as a family.
And I asked these questions to the girls and friends ! How did they feel when I invited them to participate ?
CINTIA : I really liked this week and the theme of the day and I think it is a very nice week because it promotes responsibility and care for the planet, it makes us reflect on how we can help and there is nothing nicer than that. ☺️
DANIA : Thank you Aunt for giving me this opportunity and new experience
CAMILA : : I really love these activities related to the environment, in my house we always try to contribute with our grain of sand, collecting rainwater, recycling, among others. Besides the fact that we love nature.
IVÁN : One reflection that I keep in mind is that nature teaches us to live in harmony with ourselves and the world around us. We can learn to find inner peace and cultivate a healthy relationship with our emotions, thoughts and actions. We must consider a deep gratitude for the simple things in life, nature is a gift that we must take care of for future generations, every small gesture that is to care or maintain, is to protect our planet.
SEBASTIÁN : One of the things that inspires me most in life is seeing or being part of acts of selfless kindness. These moments, when people help others without expecting anything in return, this gives me joy and the desire to move forward. These actions deeply inspire me to be a better person and to contribute positively in the lives of others. I believe that every small act of kindness can have a major impact, creating a chain of generosity and support that benefits everyone. Although it is not always easy, I try to remember that every challenge is an opportunity to grow and learn, and that by maintaining a positive attitude, I can face any obstacle with greater strength and hope. I am convinced that together we can make a big difference and find happiness in the simplest details of life. A big hug.

“The love of nature is free, it is silent, it sees the heart of the being and leads him to know the greatest power of creation.”
He says goodbye with gratitude. A big hug.
