…took place on Palm (Passion) Sunday. Jesus is THE STORY and from time-immemorial, it is the gift of stories that has enrichedd cultures and kept our faith galive. So four of our Charism Friends were invited to share their stories of how they live the Incaranion in daily life.

Carol Kuzyk shared with us the visits she makes, as a retired nurse, to people in Pilgrims’Hospice who are in palliative care and what this ministry brings to her personal faith.

Helen and Dave Gledhow told us about their involvement with prisoners and how they share the Word of God with them and what this means for their lives.

ose Sayegh, a teacher, is very happy to live her ministry as a secretary, at St Edmund’s School, founded by the first Ursulines of Jesus when they arrived in Edmonton in 1911. Officially opened in 1913, the small school has grown into a large educational establishment as Edmonton’s population has grown.

Rose showed us how the staff accompany children and young people on their human, academic and faith journey. Every year, one student in the school, who has shown how s/he lives the faith through community engagement, Gospel commitment and academic achievement, in an exemplary manner, receives a scholarship, established in our 200th anniversary year, by our Sisters in Canada.

During a time of silence, we were invited to see how the mystery of the Incarnation can be lived out in everyday life… Having welcomed the word lived among us, we broke into small listening circles. Our day was brought to closure through an Adoration, our Congregation Prayer, singing the Magnificat in honour of our Blessed Mother and updating everyone of news from the Family of the Incarnation.
