A path of life according to the Gospel,

enlightened by the mystery of the Incarnation,

in the footsteps on Louis-Marie Baudouin.

Family, that is to say:
same sap,
roots in common,
same family spirit:
the Spirit of the Incarnate Word.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS FAMILY

- To bring together all those who wish to go to ‘the school of the Incarnation’ according to their own way of life and the call received.

- To enrich and support each other mutually. Together, we will be co-responsible for the life of the Family and the vitality of the Charism. We welcome each other as equals, respecting our different vocations: religious, laity, priests) ...

- To express in today’s language, the common treasure which is the spirituality of the Incarnation, according to Louis-Marie Baudouin and his disciples. To pass on this gift received, so that it will develop in different places and cultures.

- Live more fully our vocation as women and men, and our Christian mission at the heart of the world.

A conviction ... and a responsibility for all:
The Family of the Incarnation will be born and live on, more from the lived experience where we are and from the people with whom we share mission, than from structures.

TO CONTINUE THE JOURNEY IN THE FAMILY OF THE INCARNATION: what we want to live

TO SET OUT

- To know the Family of the Incarnation
through inter-personal meetings,
through our places of foundation..

- To recognise in oneself the call to live according to the Spirit of Jesus,
the Incarnate Word.

- To desire the support of a group of sisters and/or brothers
Combine attention to life and to the Word of God, for Mission.
.

TO FORM ONESELF

Place oneself at “the school of the Incarnate Word” », according to one’s own vocation (religious, laity, priest)

To become familiar with:
- the Word of God
- texts of the Founders
- history of the Family

To enter into a specific way of prayer :
‘Exercise of the Incarnation’,
‘Act of union to Jesus and to Mary Immaculate’,
‘Confession to the Incarnate Word’.

Share, in the spirit of the
"meeting of the sisters/brothers."

TO ADVANCE IN EVERYDAY LIFE

Give a rightful place to the dignity of the human person. See in each person, beginning with those who are closest to us, the image of God.

To be attentive to the ‘seeds of the Word mysteriously hidden in every human experience’.
To allow oneself to be drawn towards this reflection ...

Contemplate and adore the Incarnate Word, and, by Him and with Him,
turn to the Father in thanksgiving.

Welcome Mary, as mother and as an example for life, she, who leads us to Jesus and through Jesus to the Father...

Share actively in the life of the Church.

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LIFE OF THE FAMILY

- To be a member of a group of the Family of the Incarnation or, after adherence to the Family, to be in contact with one of its members or one of the groups.

- To share, among groups in the Family, our way of expressing the Charism, so that it can be better lived and offered to those around us.

- Participate in the life of the family:
Feasts, various events
(Chapters, assemblies, occasional meetings between communities and persons ...)
If possible, to live a celebration of the 25th March in communion with all the Family.

- Possibility of working together to the point of a definite involvement in a place of Mission, or to respond to an urgency
.

TO FORM PART OF THE FAMILY

Commit oneself in a group of the Family according to the specific statutes of this group:
- The sons of Mary Immaculte
- Ursulines of Jesus
- Sisters of the Immaculte Conception of Niort
- Members of the Fraternities of the Incarnation recognised by one of the three congregations ...

Persons or groups who wish to form part of the family in another way. They can therefore :

Commit themselves as members of the family by adhering to the reference text in the presence of a person who is responsible: :
- the Regional or Superior General, for the laity in contact with the Sons of Mary Immaculate.
- the Provincial/Regional or Superior General, for the laity in contact with the Ursulines of Jesus or the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.
- the coordinator or person responsible for the Fraternities, for the laity in contact with members of the Fraternity.

* Individual members will be out in contact with a designated person or group, by the person who is responsible.
*It is hoped that this adherence will take place during an assembly with religious and laity. The concrete modalities are to be determined by each country.

FRIENDS OF THE FAMILY OF THE INCARNATION

Without committing themselves in the Family of the Incarnation,
some persons or groups are ‘Friends of the Family’:
- Close collaboration of the Ursulines, FMI, Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, Fraternities,
- members of our families,
- sisters and brothers who have left our congregations,
- people who come regularly to share our prayer,
- ‘Charism’ groups in one or other country,
- former pupils...

Chacun peut trouver sa place dans la Famille !
